Call of Proposals for Local Projects on Education & Youth Development for FY2024 (Deadline: January 31, 2024)

The Asian Community Trust (ACT) aims to build a “Bridge of Mutual Help and Resource Sharing” in civil societies across Asia. To pursue this aim, ACT assists projects developed by local people’s groups, NGOs and other civil society organizations with the purpose of improving people’s quality of life in their own communities and sharing their successes with others.

Project criteria

For the fiscal year 2024, ACT is calling of project proposals to which any of the following conditions apply:

Area of focus
  1. Education and Youth Development (Scholarship type)
  2. Education and Youth Development (Non-scholarship type)
Countries of focus ACT will focus on the following countries: Cambodia, Indonesia and the Philippines
Project costs From 750,000 to 2,000,000 Japanese Yen per year and per project
Duration of ACT grant Up to three (3) years, depending on the nature of the project. Continuation of funding is based on the results of its performance upon evaluation.

Deadline for Application

January 31, 2024 (Wednesday, Japan time)

Interested parties are requested to send their project proposals directly to the Tokyo ACT Office by email by 23:59 of January 31st, 2024 (Wednesday), Japan time.
